Remember that this site keeps going, in part, from member contributions and purchases from the OFC Store.
We all benefit from contributions to OFC...

Post an addy and I'll gladly participate! |

I wonder how many never see this because they are never scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page??? Most get online with regularity and never have to scroll down that far to see the current messages.
Any way to move it up to the top of the page instead of at the bottom? |

Any way to move it up to the top of the page instead of at the bottom? I'm sure many haven't seen it, but at the same time, I didn't want it to be like some sites that are always begging for funds. It's always been there, or in the previous layout it was a link in the credits page and store.
Some people find it, others ask, it's all good, and it's very much appreciated. |

And I'd never noticed the link at the bottom either. |

Thanks for a great forum, Miles and Al.
(And, though it pains me, thanks for the push, Jeff. I needed that.) |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'm embarassed. I looked at that when we used to have the green bar on the side and couldn't figure out how to use Paypal. I forgot about it before I got hooked on this board. I haven't really scrolled to the bottom of the page under the new format.
I'll try to figure out Paypal at home tonight. I was going to do it last night, but got distracted when SWMBO read Jeff's email about saving my marriage because he didn't have time to look at a guitar for me. Thanks, Jeff. |

Bob If that's a serious question, Bob, just go to paypal.com and sign up.
It's easy. Doesn't cost the sender anything.

I didn't say PP was a Bank. The newspaper I read (USA Today) considered them a "financial institution" and as such, they fell into the top ten in the US as measured by transactions per day. That's all.
I was just checking to see if you were awake. Now go post a POLL or something. See you later this morning ...

Location: Boise, Idaho | I finally remembered to do this, found the supposed Paypal password and tried every possible combination of email addresses and passwords that SWMBO had written down, until it finally went through. Writing a check is often beyond my abilities, so if I can figure out Paypal, anyone can. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | My wife has all our passwords written in a book. Unfortunately, they are not listed in an order that I can figure out. For example the Paypal password isn't under P, it's under e for ebay. Then she has a note that it's the same as ebay except for one digit. First I screwed up the email address and put our username there. Then Paypal kept saying I was using the wrong passwords. Fortunately, it didn't lock me out after a few failed efforts. I got it after 6 or so tries.
I'm just going to fly to Seattle, hitch a ride to Mount Vernon and give Miles some cash next time. I can do cash. I can even add, subtract, multiply and divide and make change in my head without a computer. |
