I am a newbie to Ovation, always admired them but never bought one...yet...
Anyone have any thoughts on the 2001 Adamas 1598 that Dave Rice is selling on eBay? He says it is not a ME version of the 1598 and is the ruby top...
Being a newbie I have no idea of what this is worth...any guesses as to a good bid price?
Thanks... |

You have posted in the For Sale Section and should probably Ask that the topic be closed and repost in the General Posting. you will get plenty of responses and much quicker.
I my self do not own an Adamas so I can't help you. |

Still pretty cheap with two days to go...
If it stays under a thousand bucks, I guess it is a good deal. Although I have no real experience with Adamas... So I ain't really qualified to judge.
Who ARE these people? :p

I have a 1598 'granite' with Adamas on the label and Ovation on the headstock. Awesome guitar!
There is a little info here. Do a search for '1598' |

Best advice I can give you Labby is to watch and buy it if the price seems right to you. These typically command somewhere between $900 and $1500 depending on timing. The market is favoring buyers right now ... so you can expect to get a good deal. |

Was there something about Ovation in this topic or is this whole thread OT? |
