Furch has 2 week old strings and high action... i didn't have time to correct it.

Legend was recorded with mic in fron of it + 2nd signal coming from preamp to mixer and set to about 60% of mic's signal volume.
Furch was recorded with mic in front of it.
I've used Audio-technica AT2020 cardioid condenser microphone plugged into Alto 100 mixer and signal from mixer sent to PC (ESI Juli@ soundcard). i did not correct signal in any way.

Furch is indeed bass heavy - at the end i've dropped tuning to D to show it, and it can handle drop C aswell. But it's stringed with 12s or 13s, i don't know what factory used, and it's painful to play at the moment (but in few weeks i'll have left hand of a lumberjack ;-)

Very nice LBJ !!
I own a legend LX purchased new late 2006 and a 1967 DL Balladeer received in nov. 2007 from LostArtVintage. To fill the gap I'd like to get a 1617 legend as well.
I've recently seen one of 1981. It look and sound great.

i think i will buy another guitar, a 12 string this year - maybe in august? i still don't know what will it be - Ovation or a wood-box? I didn't hear 12 string ovation "live" in my life, and i'm a bit affraid of purchasing from picture.
btw,.
i will post new samples when i'll "catch a fire" because until yesterday, in last 4 months i've played maybe for 10 hours, and my playing is a bit... rough. good mic doesn't help, because you hear every mistake i make.

The Only 12 string Ovation I know of IRL , is my 1618 , it is reminiscent of a 1617 , Harmonic / Sweet sounding , when loaded with gauge 10 -47.
