Location: New Hampsha | Adamas II, model #=? Looks to be a 1597 except the pegface isn't balck and it has funny fret marker on 12th fret..
Any ideas?

Location: Scotland | Wow, that's the first one I've seen other than in a catalog pic. As far as I can tell it's was shown for 1 year only in the 99 calalog alongside the 1597 SMT. Model no was 6581-OB (go figure) According to the catalog spec it has a deepbowl and textured top and unlike the SMT had a standard Adamas suspended mounting ring, as well as those gayer-than-usual Epi's. That's a pretty rare bird. |

I'm trying like heck to buy it but the person in question seems confused, or the advertisements in the magazine and on the website are outdated. It may have flown the coop.

woof! Good luck. Unfortunately dealers keep sold guitars listed to attract business. Like I said , the red 1581 was sold. But he's trying to find one for me. Keep us posted. |
