Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | I have an idea in mind and it includes your used Acoustic guitar and bass strings... electric too... (Just "steel" please! Nylon is not part of the game)
I can't disclose the idea at the moment but, I will when, if and whether or not it actually works...
-The MOST useful strings will be:
Those that are cut "in-half" say, about the 9th fret and include both, the BallEnd and the "CurlyCues" at respective ends.
But- I'll take all strings, and please include the "CurlyCues" and the "BallEnds"
I propose that you send "sets" along in Coils, about the same size as a new set, wrapped in newspaper (yeah, I know there's gonna be a lotta "wild hairs" when coiled). When you have enough to fill a "9X11" envelope, send them along via the cheapest method.
Consider this a "Green" method of used string disposal!
If you are interested, please respond in the affirmative to this post and will contact you via PM or Email. |

On the string front...
I will need, I believe the correct nomenclature is, "A Shitload." I can wait a few months, so send as much as you can over the next few months... |

| He wants to get our DNA from the strings and plant it at the scene a planned heist of a bunch of Ovation guitars.
His won't be there, of course, and we're a pool of likely suspects. Clever.

Would I be ruining a surprise if I asked;
WTF Jeff? |
