How do I spell relief...???
1537
On the left is the instigator, the carrier of the dreaded gas disease, my buddy's 1768. On the right is the cure. Temporary cure I am warned but it sure feels fine right now. Can't stop grinning. Would have posted sooner, the 1537 actually got here early last Tuesday but theatre schedule had me on the run all week/weekend. Finally got time to breathe (and play) tonight. This baby is everything you all said it would be. Thanks everyone for guiding me to my first Ovation. Now, can any of you veterans tell me how long this grin is supposed to last? My face is starting to hurt!
Thank you RTmoose for such a wonderful start down this Ovation road. You were right about the burst and I do love this guitar.

If your like me you cant get enough of people telling what a great looking guitar you have. So let me add my 2 cents "Man that looks GREAT" Wish I had the coin to have one like that. I just got a old 1111 w/the Burst shelled out $225.00. I think that the Ovation sunburst makes the best looking guitar ever made. Theres just something about it. I really don't care for Sunburst on any other brand. I added oem gold tuners and have a truss rod cover on order from Mother,
even though I mine has the Kaman system. I just like the look w/the cover.
If you happen to be married just tell you wife how much you spent and she will take care of that grin.

Believe you will, James.
Keep the Faith. It works! :)
And thanks everyone for the nice words.

Yeah, right....
Seriously, I'm going to bask in the sonic glory of the 1537 for a while. It is just the sweetest sounding thing... :D Can't hear enough of it!
But...
If I had to guess today on what would be next, I'd probably say something else nice and fat like this one. 'Cept maybe with a round hole.
What's the going rate for a nice 1619 Custom Legend?
