Recently, I was able to get # 2 of the Takamine 45th Anniv. Prior to that, I had the 40th for a short time.

Hmmm. wonder where # 1 is??

When I had the 40th, I was amazed at the quality of work both as an instrument and as a work of art. I have some good guitars to compare against.

The Takamine 45th Anniversary is even more than the 40th. In addition, a/e. I can't compare against the EJ75 but I will tell you that you should seriously consider the 45th (Al has # 10).

I do a fair amount of finger pickin' and the neck is perfect. My Martin HD-28VS (thanks Stephen) and other "wood boxes" play 2nd fiddle to the 45th.

(Of course, the 30th Anniv CL, 47RI, and OFC guitars get more play but I didn't say that on the Takamine Forum)

On paper, the Tak 45th Anniversary is one very fine, high-end guitar. I haven't had the pleasure of playing one, but I'm sure it's superb given how good are Taks everyday products. Congrats on the get.
