2ifybC, it's getting there, really it is, it's amazing how quickly you can adapt, it's feeling pretty natural now. It sounds so good! In fact haven't even touched the 07C since it came, $660 well spent :) |

Location: Vernon CT | Question for you. Are any of the tips of the Eppies lifting? Mine has 2-3 and when I was
cleanning her up, I snagged a tip and snapped it off. I was able to glue it back on and unless you are up close, it not noticable. I was bummed!! |

Location: Brighty in Blighty | None of the tips but there was a TINY section lifting up - i lifted it a little more and squeezed some super glue under there. But I don't care, if not noticeable and I'm never likely to part with this beaut. A little battle scars are normal, don't worry about it. |

My plan: I would grab them, Photoshop them just a tad, and incorporate them into other graphics. I mean, they're just gorgeous! |

I'm gonna tell you some thing that will make your heart sink a bit. I told you I paid $500.00 for it which is what the guy I bought it from originally went back to after a little original hagling. Once we meet, about 1 hour's drive for both ,I noticed the Eppies lifting the dried out bridge and fretboard and even though I knew it was no big deal, I played it up. The guy say you know what, your right, I'll give it to you for the $350.00 we originally talked about!!!!
Dweezil, My appoligies for "stealing your topic" here and in no way does this diminish the great deal/guitar you have. I'll say it again. She's a beauty!!!!! |

Location: Brighty in Blighty | Took the 1758 to show my pro guitar friend, someone I *REALLY* trust who knows his "onions" and tells it like it is. He's been a top pro for 35+ years and has played with the greats.
Anyhow he reckons it's the nicest 12 string he's ever played and was really envious. I *LOVE* it and don't really care what anyone else says as it does it for me but it's always nice to have that 2nd opinion, right?
So thanks people for making me buy it (you didn't really have to persaude me now did you) and for your kind words apropos my crappo pics, one of these days I'll stop buying Os/As so I can get a decent camera (a nice SLR Canon would be awesome). | |
