Hi,

I have been using Elixir Nanowebs on my 07C and 1680, they are great on thr 07C but there's something not quite right about them on the 1680.

So was thinking of switching to some Adamas 1818E phospher bronze, anyone have any strong views on strings for the 1680 or Adamas in general.

Yeah I know it's personal taste etc etc etc etc etc....

I have used and liked the Adamas med gauge phosphor bronze and the light-med elixir nano phoshor bronze on my 1681.
God bless,
Steve

Dweez, try GHS silk and steel on it. I know they sounded great on the UTE and the 1681.

You also might try 80/20 Bronze.

I just put some D'Add EXPs phosphor bronze lights (.012-.053) on my 1680. They sound better than the old strings (unkn) but I'll try mediums next time now that I've built up my finger tip callouses.
