Hey fellers, my good buddy (and new OFCer) GNATL and I are talking big about making some of those nifty cigar box guitars for fun. We've got some boxes already. What we don't have are tuners, nuts, bridges, saddles, pickups, knobs, buttons, etc. I see that I could probably get the stuff to outfit a guitar on ebay for $50 or so all together. But I'm thinking that somebody here has a huge box of used/old guitar crap that would cut that cost in half. Am I right?

I know we can make parts out of household items, and use $2 transducers from Radio Shack for pickups, but eventually I want to try and make one worth keeping.
