Just kidding! Have a happy April Fools Day!

Taylors are nice guitars, I just haven't played one that I liked yet. |

My college roommate (circa 1981-82) told me recently he's gotten back into guitar, and he DID buy an Esteban! |

Esteban this Guitar!! :D I actually really teased someone who works in my building that is also a guitar lover. I told him that I bought an Esteban El Kabongo model. He said "Really?I never heard of that one." I said, "Yea, it's one of those where you pluck the string and the guitar self destructs".
He told me that his brother has 5 Estebans. I asked him "What does your brother do with them?" He said, "Nothing. He just hangs them up on a wall and admires them."

What is the difference in Esteban's, except some have prettier abalone contact paper.

[April Morning Chuckle] Well, Ovations may be a little different, but at least you can take one off the wall and play it without it going "el kabong" on you! :D
Abalone contact paper -- that's funny! :D
One thing I did hear about Estebans is how difficult their action is to adjust. I heard that they have relatively high action.

Location: Vernon CT | A friend of mine who started playing guitar around the same time I did could not find a left handed guitar,so, he saw the Infommercial and bought one. As it was a lefty it was difficult to attempt to play it,but, I do remember the action was so incredibly high it was difficult to fret the strings. I also remember the frets edges feeling like razors!! NASTY!!! My friend now play exclusively Electric. Said after that experience he hates Acoustics!! Do say, I've tried!!! |
