Thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers of those who have offered them along the way.

Location: Parrish, FL | Thanks gang for the well wishes. It has been a long time coming and real worry was starting to kick-in.
To those who are still looking, keep at it. Be sure to call in favors and re-establish contacts, no matter how long it has been. I've read, and I believe it to be true, that it is not so much WHAT you know, but WHO you know. That was true in my case, it at least got me in the door and my resume on the top of the heap.
We're excited to be going to FL, especially the gulf coast. Now, after some time to claw back out the hole were in, a boat will be in order. I haven't sailed on a regular basis in over 6 years. That is a long dry spell for a family that did it full time for 2 years.
Jas...close 6/4/60.
OMA and BT717, keep your spirits up. If I can help in any way, don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Location: Vernon CT | Thanks Brad, It's been 16 months now. I'm sooooo bored! My options due to my son living with his mom are such that moving is not something I want nor am willing to do, just yet. So, A day at a time. My gut is that it will be atleast another 5-6 months or more as I am hearing that the job market "MIGHT" start improving in the 4th quarter, but more 1st qtr 2010.
Sorry to steal your thread. It's good to hear positive news!!! :) |

Hate to see you leave Tennessee but employment is one reason I moved here from New York.
Are you going to try to sneak in one last "Sundown In The City"?
Sarasota is a nice area. When my son lived in Bradenton we spent some time down there.
