Maybe I missed something in my Ovation sheltered existence (not a bad thing, mind you!) - but I recently (re)discovered an incredible duo who's style and execution is absolutely "drop-jaw"!
If you've not seen them - take a moment and be prepared to catch the drool...but don't hold it against them that they're not sporting O's!

I've seen them live and they are great briliant (they are/were based in Ireland). That's what nylon-stringed guitars were made for. Make you either hang up your guitar, or else get it out and start practising.

I have watched numerous YouTube videos of them since seeing the STH video. Watching them play and put their own signature on such a classic has inspired me.
I'm almost 42 and I've played for 30+ years off and on. There was a point that I didn't even have a guitar for 10 years. I don't know many songs all the way through and most of what I "know" has been learned by ear. I cannot read music, I don't know scales, and I don't get together with anyone else to play. But I have resolved (in the last few days) to improvise more in what I do play. I'm a surveyor and precision is one of my traits (faults maybe). That's probably why I feel I need to play things exactly like they sound on the record.
Thanks for sharing the video. I look forward to playing more than I ever have.
