There are some Celebrity's out there that say 'limited' or 'limited edition' out there.
I don't really know what that means since I have never touched one. But from what I have seen on evilBay these are usually a CS257 or CS247 with something extra.
Cooler wood, more abalone, a better preamp...
That would depend on the particular guitar.
The real question is, does it sound nice? Does it play nice? Is it a good deal? Does it speak to you?
Does it look like one of these?

| From the Ovation website:
CP2003
This is one of two "Limited Edition" Korean Celebs, the other being the CP2002, which I owned at one time. The CP2002 wasn't bad - mid bowl, lotsa bling, decent tone. But neither the CP2002 or the CP2003 are Elites. They're "Elite-style" in that they have the epaulets, but they lack Elite bracing and a 5-piece neck. One big thing that trips people up is that these are the only Celebs to my knowledge that used the Elite-style fretboard (look at the fretboard end) and not the usual Celeb fretboard. |

THe neck seem a bit odd, as it seemed not to have any finish on it,

Maybe 'hand-grease' will cure that after awhile, or you could try wax or oil.
I believe that the next time that change strings on the 1860 I will oil the neck and see what that does. If I remember to do it... |

Location: UK | I've tried guitars with a high gloss finish on the neck and I just can't slide. I prefer the 'unfinished' feel. |
