Finally got a chance to do some needed adjustments to the 1158-1 Custom Legend 12...the neck needed adjusting which really perfected both the action and intonation...also installed a fresh set of Elixir strings and polished the guitar...what a difference! This guitar aside from being a rare bird absolutely sings...
I had thought about sending the guitar to the mothership for a p/u installation...but after the results of the TLC session last night, I'm leaving it absolutely stock...the guitar is as mint as any I have ever seen and it deserves to stay that way...If we ever get some nice weather w/o wind and rain, I will get some much better pictures...
I want to thank Patch and Iffy for the opportunity to aquire this great 12 string...I promise that when I finally get to a jam or gathering, I'll have this in tow...you'll all love it too!

Wow Mike...! That's a, ummm, what can I call it?... mature sunburst! Don't think I've seen one quite like it. Very 'plush'...

I'm not normally a bling type of individual, but my '85 1659-1 Custom Legend is definitely a keeper.

Glad ya could set it up to your impeccable standards! Now wear it out!

One of the projects I want to complete soon is to record and post sound samples of my various Ovation/Adamas models...I have the equipment; now I need the time...it may be the end of May before that happens but I will get it done...thanks for asking...
