Anyone use Moviemaker to make music videos for youtube? I'm sure it's not the best recording software, but it's handy....it's already on my laptop.

I know what you're thinking, weas, and you won't be in the videos this time. Any requests?

windows moviemaker is okay to make your clip with. but then you'll need to convert the file to an mp4 for uploading. you can download a free converter from here

I record using the camera's software then use Movie Maker to edit and "publish" the vid to the computer. It is then easily uploaded to YouTube, I'm not sure where the converter fits in, but perhaps newer versions of the application take care of that.

Okay, Losov....you're my man! I've got a pretty decent Samsung digital cam that i can record on. I guess from there I can capture it on Moviemaker. I'll consult you when I get close, if you don't mind.

Yup.
My Canon A520 and MS Moviemaker. Mediocre quality but it is easy and available.
