Location: Cincinnati | Thanks, Jim, but everytime I look at Dave or Kurt's collections my jaw drops and I drool all over myself. And I know there's plenty of other outstanding collections I haven't looked at yet.
Next time I visit Sam Ash I'm going to have to play a Larrivee to see what they are all about. |

Nice James, but......whys it soooo small? Cause I don't have a lot of room in my parlor for a guitar, so I had to get a small parlor...oh, nevermind. |

You've got good taste, you just need to learn to increase your savour time. :) |

Sheesh. I never would have bought half the guitars I've had if it weren't for you "friends". Oh, but what a sweet ride it's been!
and...about the Collings, I've had the urge for a while for one. It's only a matter of time. ;) |

That looks more than a 'touch' smaller than the '97.
We'll be waiting for an in depth report prior to you selling it! |

Location: South of most, North of few | I would like to compare it to the 97 size wise. I think the only thing really smaller is the shorter scale length. The body is close, just not a round back. We'll call it a jumbo 6 string uke. |

Location: Chehalis, Washington | Larrivees are like a cross between a good Taylor (no laughing) and a nice Martin. They have the bottom end Martins have without being "muddy" and the sparkly (is that a word?) treble of a Taylor without being "tinny." The best of both worlds IMO...if you want a wood box that has a great balance of sound and is very easy to play without spending major $$$$, Larry's are the way to go. |
