Location: Boise, Idaho | It's Friday the 11th. All you who are over 50 are invited. My wife would be shocked if anyone showed up.
We had some friends show up last Friday, ready to party. They were so embarassed they wouldn't stay and have a beer. That's what happens when you get old. I've forgotten my birthday, too.
I bought myself the capo and a very used amp, so I'm all set. Not as good as last year with the OFC guitar, but I don't deserve that nice a gift very often. |

I got 26 years today.
The real interesting thing is that 14 years ago today the new Music corporate building was officially opened and dedicated. I had Martin make a Martin-Bruno OO-41 for the ocasion, Martin is 1833, Bruno is 1834, the two oldest music companies in the US and Bruno sold Martins under the Bruno brand in the 20's and 30's. This guitar is the equlivent to what the top of the line would have been back then.
Anyway, back to the birthdays, hope they are good! |

No I didn't get a capo. :( And I lost a bid on a guitar in the last minute on eBay last night.
My fault I guess. I bid the max of what I was willing to pay and walked away until the auction was over. I guess the other bidder wanted it more or knew it was worth more.
Anyway it the thrill of the hunt that is part of the fun. :D
Randy, Great song. Give a beat, put it on the street and you could be the next American Idol. |

I could send you the $2 one I bought last year at Target. :D
BTW: I just realized my birthday is 1 week after April Fools Day and 1 week before Taxes are due.
The significance of this is beyond my feeble comprehension. |
