Such a deal. Misrepresented by the seller who didn't know what he had ('laminated' top is incorrect). Needs some work and parts but if it's structurally sound, this is an amazing deal. And yeah, I bid. Winner topped my by a buck.

Yeah, but that is "Daddy's"...
The sell ALOT of guitars.
If they thought it was worth more parted-out they are probably correct.
But I have tuners, and you can get a saddle pick-up for under $100...
I don't know about getting that kind of preamp.

But it does show the state of the market.

Would it be worth the trouble ? ... there might be a reason why all those items are missing , but of course , for the advanced hobbyist it could be a welcome challenge .. :cool:

Yes, definitely pig in a poke. But if you're a patient scrounger (for parts), good with your hands, and the thing wasn't totally wanked, a total investment of $100 makes sense. If it turns out to be broken or unfixable, make a wall hanging out of it and plant a pothos inside.
