Location: Vernon CT | The OFC membership amazes me everyday!There are 2 members here, that if I walked down the street next to them would recognize me as I have met each once. I have been going through a rough patch lately and reached out to a few of you for "advise" (you know who you are). What I got was more then what I was expecting and has helped me deal with what I'm going through.
I just got off the phone with one of them, completely unexpected phone call to just see how I was doing. This member must live 1500 miles from me, was at work, and on his break called.
You know who you are my friend. THANK-YOU! you made my day!
I think the rest of this messed up world should look at what goes on here and learn! :) |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Very well said. There's a lot of fun-filled teasing that goes on here, and some outright disagreements at times, but come here with an issue and a genuine desire for a receptive ear and a warm heart, the OFC membership is all over it. |

| In the law enforcement world there is a comradery that only if you work it would know. It is afraternal organization that see's the worst of the worst......but yet the job is thankless. Only media coverage is when a bad apple surfaces. I find that musicians are the same way in providing a ear to talk to; a shoulder to lean on. This site especially seems to have very helpful and caring folks. |
