Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Well, some of you knew, others guessed, and now the cats on the loose. Dave's Book Mandolin has relocated to the Hudson Valley. And it was worth all the years of effort to track one down and come up with the money. (Not an easy thing for a church social worker.)
First, and again, thank you kindly Dave Witko for the opportunity and for your unanticipated patience. Gallerinski was promised payment within 2 weeks and, I am embarrassed to admit that due to a tax screw up on my part, wound up waiting closer to eight. He was professional and gentlemanly throughout.
But finally, one of the very top instruments is checked off my wish list. These are very rare. I'm given to understand that about 20-25 were made? And its cousin is being repaired at the factory as we speak. I can't wait to take pics of them side-by-side.
Speaking of pics, mine aren't as nice as Dave's, but here she is at her new home.
