I saw This HAMER on eBay, and being a Hamer fan I became intrigued. Is there anything you can add to the story? It sure looks like one sweet guitar.

That's sweet. I'd like to hear the story behind it also!

There were only 9. It was real close to a production model at the time. HAC does not mean Hamer Artist Custom but that's close enough for a public explanation. These were produced when we were in the middle of a legal trademark issue with a company south of Connecticut.
They are very nice guitars.

Knowing what PF22 really stood for....I can only imagine what HAC really means!

Any idea where most of the 9 went?

No, just sold to regular customers. I think these were made in the early 90's?

Now here's how life runs in small circles.
It was around 99 or 2000 and I was working on a home-made tele and really screwed up the tuners. I took it to a local Jax guy to fix it. A month later when I went in to get it he says "There was a guy in here wanted to trade his guitar for that Tele."
So I say, "What's his guitar?"
Buddy says "One of those Hamer HAC models. I told him you probably weren't interested in it."
I said "Good call"
Two or three years later I'm at a dinner gathering and I hear the story again from the guy who had the Hamer.
It was Davis.

"It was Davis."

That's great, Beal. And only Henny Youngman could have told (written) it better.
