Location: Upper Left USA | If you haven't noticed, in the absense of someone famous and respected stepping forward to update the "Book" we, the OFC, have been doing that all along.
With permission or pre-forgiveness, I would like to use this post to populate a draft of an Ovation Fan Club's History of Ovation Guitars.
Of course this will not only document and clarify some of the Model differences but will also include a lot of behind the scenes input.
Also included will be some OFC highlights such as an OFC Glossary:
Spellchuck: the act of purposely misspelling a word to drive home your point.
(Click): 1) "Nothing more worth saying" or 2) "Can't post what I want to really say".
As one of the OFC Off-Topic Tour Guides I would like to ask that this thread remain free of comments and gets filled with submissions.
Enjoy |

Whole chapter on gatherings, & their monikers, e.g., G8rbowl, Factory Tours, Amelia Island, etc., with signature events, e.g., The Catapult Caper, Screendoor Transporter, etc.
Philanthropic escapades, e.g. "replacement" Eclipse for DVD, Jerome's critter (honestly, forgot which model it was), Wabbit's Weward, & others.
Just a start, really. |

I'll keep thinking on it. Something about this idea really appeals to me. |

Location: Chicago | GAS (Laws)--a set of unchangeable principles of O/Adamas physics. Famous examples are "Dave's Law" & "Jerome's Law". In a recent Scientific American article it was explained to the ignorant public as "Too Much = Never Enough" (given the non-linear, non-Taylor/Martin, "roundback" Universe).
From Wiki: OFC "GAS Laws" are new, universal principles that trump obsolete, old-school physics (Boyle's law, , Gay-Lussac's law, Charles's law, Avogadro's law, Graham's law, Dalton's law, Amagat's law). |
