Just got an Ovation CC44 and loving it!
I need to ask something. Where could I find a hardshell case to fit my new guitar?
Thank you!

Check with Al (our co-sponsor) HERE . Also check 'craigslist' and eBay. And post a WTB over in the 'For Sale' forum. Good luck... |

Yeah. I love Oavation guitars! The only other Acoustics I liked were Taylor. :-) |

Yeah. I love Oavation guitars! The only other Acoustics I liked were Taylor. :-) You will get away with this as you are new,BUT, the "T" word here can be grounds for emotional harassment! I know! ;) |

I know! ;) Oh, sorry. I just personally thought those were the only competition for Ovation. Which I would take as a compliment because Taylor is a widely known and respected brand of guitars.
I understand where you're coming from though. I belong to a Les Paul Forum, MyLesPaul to be exact and I get agitated when people mention Fender. Hehe. :-) |

The 9158 is a bit nicer, and it says 'Ovation' in the fur inside the top.
It is probably worth the extra $30 over the 8158 ...
I have bought used cases for $50 from a shop, but they were Well Used! |

You will be sure to receive all kinds of help, here; how "helpful" some of it might actually be remains to be seen, though. (You will learn that a bit of "funnin'" is part of what makes us who we are.)
But, inspite of that, a very warm welcome, Sky. This is a great site, and everything you could ever want to know about Ovations can be found here.

--Karen Thanks Karen. :-)
So far this place is very friendly and filled with knowledge.
I don't know if there are many people in my age group here though. I'm 15.
But I usually tend to get along with the adults. :-) |
