I'm using a digital interface to lay down some tracks on my computer. The interface (emu 1616m) has a selectable input level, professional level at +4dBV, and consumer level at -10dBu. Anyone know which setting would be best when inputting signal from an "O" op40 preamp ? Thanks in advance for your replies!

+4dBV and adjust the gain accordingly

Or forget the pickup and use a good microphone instead.

Actually I am using the preamp output along with on mic recording simultaneously, using a Rode NT 2000. Just playing around with different settings trying to find the best sound. Thanks Guys !!
