Location: Cincinnati | TJ had recently contacted me regarding a 12 string he had. I told him if he ever decided to sell his Tacoma Koa that I was interested. He said he would sell it to me. I told him that I really didn't want to spend the money now because I was having spine surgery and wasn't sure what it was going to cost me due to our new insurance, and it usually takes a few months for all the bills to be processed. He said he would hold the guitar for me. It ended up that all of my EOB's were available on line within 2 weeks so I sent TJ the money. He's shiping the Tacoma today.
Jim has never met me and we've only exchanged a few emails, so he could have easily said give him a call when I have the money. Instead he made this purchase work for me. Thanks, Jim. |

| One of many reasons we all love the Old Trader. This board is full of great folks, but TJ is one of the best. |

How many of us have had this conversation?
Interchangeable OFC member: Hey Jim, when are you gonna sell the _________?"
Jim: "I'll never sell __________, it's a keeper."
five weeks later...
Interchangeable OFC member: Hey Jim, how do you like the _________?"
Jim: "Oh, I sold that a month ago."
:D
BTW, Does the Tacoma have a Martin sticker on it?
:D :D |

And in that spirit; Jim, you'd better PM me first when you decide to move that Elite with the koa epaulette. :D |

Location: South of most, North of few | Thank you all for all the positive(?) comments. Jack, you deserve every good thing that happens to you. Patch, I DON'T EVEN HAVE THE $#%@ THING YET :D . This is a great place full of GREAT people, of which I am the least. I am only going to post in my sig the Ovation products that I own (at the time) so the others are still here somewhere. And....I am up to something, StephenT and Beal are pushing me to the dark side (read Collings) and I am just about at the edge of the cliff (sorry Cliff) now. I will let you all know what and when it happens. Stay tuned... |

Location: Simpsonville, SC | The enterprise commonly known as "Trader Jim" is a pleasure to do business with.
His rapid rotation of inventory, pleasant customer service and quick shipping are second to none.
His constant search for the "Perfect" guitar has enabled many people to find shining examples of their "Perfect" guitar.
The OFC, as well as many other forums I suspect, owe a great debt to the Trader's quest.
Long live Trader Jim! ;) :D :p
