Location: USA - New Jersey | I am comparing the 2005 Collectors against the new 1777lx legend. The 2005 is new. Is the collector considered an upgrad over the lengend? |

Location: Scotland | The 05 has a contour bowl and englemann top, the 1777LX has a non-contour mid-depth bowl and a sitka top. Both are LX spec and have the same electronics so apart from the above and a few minor cosmetic details there's not a lot between them on paper. Your ears and hands might say different. |

Location: Flahdaw | To me the Collectors is much finer. In addition to the contour bowl, the rosette is very tasteful. But how is the tone unplugged? |
