Location: Michigan | I just recently installed some electronics in an all wood guitar. Fishman matrix infinity unit.
Sounds pretty good, piezo under the bridge, active 9v, volume & tone controls.
Problem I have is the hum coming from the amp when I'm not playing.
Funny thing, its and active unit and amp have button for active & passive. Less hum if on passive. Also if I touch the cable end in the endpin jack the hum almost completely goes away.
Followed the instructions and it was a pretty simple deal but don't know what to check.
Any ideas, I'm just sayin' as seems like Ovation perfected this piezo thing ?
