I got a Folklore on Ebay last night, but no case comes with it, and the seller WON'T SHIP. Is there anyone in the area who is willing to help me retrieve my new find?

There's a guitar case for sale on CraigsList for $50. http://burlington.craigslist.org/msg/1212304908.html

Maybe you can buy it, and have that seller ship it to Chino Hills????

Any e-bay seller who does not understand the concept of shipping. I don't think he'll get very far.

Wish I could help ya out John.

If you don't find anyone here to help, you might try posting on CraigsList (near Chino Hills, CA): "Looking for transport from CA to PA". My wife says she often sees posts like that in the Farm&Garden section. She also sees posts like: "I'm heading to on the anyone need a ride". Who knows, maybe your new guitar can go around the world before it gets to you! Though that's probably not a good idea.

Nope Jim... Rather than Bob's old hand-me-downs, I'd rather have your Adamas that you had at Amelia.
BTW... good morning.

He's the best...

BTW, I have shipped an empty case to a seller before and had him put the guitar in it and ship it back to me...sure it's a little expensive for shipping, but it's all relative when you get a nice guitar you have no other way to get...ask your seller if you can do the same...or buy a case and have it drop shipped to the seller where he can then send it on to you w/the guitar...lots of ways to do this...

Thanks, Noah. I have that private eye helping me out (thanks Paul!)

Paul's gonna get it and see if it needs to come to me or go to Connecticut first.

May I also say how shocked I was that nobody here had their eye on this. $100 for a Folklore! Where was everybody?

I wouldn't have wanted to deal with the lack of shipping issue.

Since the eBay listing said "NO SHIPPING. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY in the Southern Calif. area." it probably deterred most of us.

That's why I started my original thread "Ice Breaker"

It worked instantly! I got 3 or 4 names of potential help, and it didn't announce the sale to everyone.

Oh, Brad...I wouldn't use YOU. I knew you live too far away. Now if I find a deal in lower Mich...oh, sorry.
