So it occurs to me that we have a billabong full of Aussie men, a bastion of Men in France, a Loch of Highlanders, a pint of Brits and a carton of Canucks from Canadia.

Are there any Women that play Ovations in these Countries?

Now behave...

If you look on the members page on the "social site" you will see that there are actually quite a few ladies from other countries.

I asked a couple of them if they ever came over here and both replied that the "forum style" was too intimidating and they preferred the look and feel of the 'ing' site.

Quick off the cuff remark. Of the 7,000 (and change) members, there are probably 30 or so TRULY active posters on this site. That means that only about 1 new member in more than 230 joins AND remains active. In that group, there are a few women, but not many. Too bad. Join up, ladies!

Probably had to sell her Ovation to pay the duties/customs charges on the trinkets we sent her.

What's a "CFM D 35?" (please forgive the ignorance)

That's not bad but it seems to me they usually go for the girlie Taylors. Hey, Why not? There's a lot of Nashville ladies who use these well.

For slide 12-string you need to go back to the masters who defined the whole style back in the 1920's: Barbeque Bob Hicks and Blind Willie McTell.

Ana is no slouch on the electric guitar either, though she is partial to the Strat and not O's.

My 1615 apparently used to belong to a Scottish lady. Does that count?
