I hope its in as good of condition as it looks.
It wasn't that bad $713.27 with shipping after 8% off coupon.
I wonder what list price was on these??
I know the 1779-USA was $3299.
I was not able to find thr 1777-USA on the Ovation Trib except for a Japan Price list but it had OP-40 listed si its not the same as this one.
No mention on Ovation site at all. |

I do remeber struggling through The Battle Hymm of Republic with trembeling emotion choked voice and tear stained cheeks on Sept 11, 2003.
I has to stop after the 3rd verse.
My first cousin was a Major in the US Army assigned to Pentagon 2 years before.
Than God the Army side renovation had not been completed. The plane went right through were his office was supposed to be.
We did not know if he was alive, injured or dead for 3 days. He was OK. He had been part of the people planning the responce to the attack.
Many don't know but only some areas of the Pentagon were evacuted. |

I don't know it on the guitar either, but I'd be honored to learn it with you! |

The Legends and Elites from around this time had the Tru-Balance, as well as the Adamas models from then.
Thinline was for Standards and Celebrities, Hi-Output for Custom E. and L. and specialties.
They changed to Hi-Output on nearly all "more expensive" guitars with the introduction of the LX-series.
To my ears, the Tru-Balance on my CVT sounded better than the Hi-Output I built in later. But, for sure, that was no real side by side comparison.
Best regards,
Kurt |

Location: Nashville TN. | I talked to Kim about it when picking up W598 from a repair. I dropped it ooops. oh well.
He suggested replacing the pick up.
I'll give Tru-Balance a try but I may well have
replaced. All my O's & A's have the orginal
patiented pickup AKA Hi-Output amd few other names.
Other than that short period of time all A/E had the OPP. It wasn't broken. Not sure why the fixed it.
time will tell
The guitar arrives July 8th |
