Location: L.A. | New, So...Hi Everyone, A couple weeks back I got a small touch of GAS. Found I Needed a 12 string. After all, I did not have one. Growing up in the 60's a 12 string brought 2 things to mind, Ovation and "The Glen Campbell Good Time Hour". The hunt was on. I combed 3 counties of music stores, hit the internet and stumbled on the OFC. For sale was Iffyy's Glen Campbell 12 string (1118-4) and for a fair price, was mine. Got it yesterday and I have to say I was impressed. Sounds just like the acoustic version of "Hotel California". Too bad I don't play just like it. I used to think my National was a shoe in for my desert island guitar but now I have to re-think that all over again. Sorry for being a little windy but it was in me and had to let it out. Thanks again Iffy and See Ya Guys. |

| Welcome & congrats! Iffy's a straight up guy, so I know you wouldn't have been disappointed. I think I played that guitar, and it is a sweet one. Enjoy! |

I think I played that guitar Yepper, either at SJ or GB II. It's in nicer condition that my -1, but ya know I'm a 'PU assy' for the 'O' burst.
Steven, enjoy and wear it out! It sure does 'sing'... |

You scored a GREAT guitar, (but you already know that…)
I originally stumbled on the OFC with a similar scenario to yours; child of the 60's, looking for a 12 string which I couldn't afford back in the day…
… I soon had aquired an ME II, and soon thereafter a few more O's & A's… so be forewarned; hold on to your wallet if you're going to hang around the OFC! Everyone here loves to help other members spend their money and expand the fan-base for these guitars.
…but even more importantly than the guitars I've obtained, I've acquired a bunch of great friends that I've never met… (yet.) ;)
Welcome to the asylum… |

Welcome! There ain't nothing like an Ovation 12! (unless it's an Adamas 12...) |
