He's back...

...and says "Happy 4th July!!!"

Yeah I'm English but I celebrate it cos my brother in law is American. And so needed a special way of celebrating it I bought an American guitar ;) A bit tenuous but what the hey!

Yeah it's black I hear you cry but this isn't 'black' it's 'Adamas black'. :) No it doesn't have an ebony neck but it does have a Op Pro Studio and possibly even the suspended ring looking at the edges (which I prefer to the rope).

I really liked the tone of 1881-5 I tried and would have kept it but it had been repaired at some time and the bottom strings didn't feel right. It had that Legg zing.

Got it for less than I paid for a 2nd hand repaired 1881! I just had to do it.

Someone had to buy one as Jerome's site doesn't have any pics of one ;)

Pics to follow...

Happy 4th July!!!

Nice guitar Dweez; but I believe the rope was part of the suspension ring when viewed via cross section...Jerome has a pic on his site.

Regardless, thanks for the 4th good wishes and all the best to you as well...

That one looks the same as the 1680, so it probably does too.
