Location: UK | Does anyone know the difference between the 9158 and the 8158 as both seem to accommodate deep bowl guitars? (apart from the logo difference on the front of the shell.

Location: Upper Left USA | 9158's are a tad more solid less likely to have problems aligning after 20 years of use. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | 9158's have "Ovation" written in the fur under the lid... Hence, they Look Cool! :cool:
Also, depending on when they were made they have Padded Leather-ish Handles! :eek: |

Location: South of most, North of few | Some of the newer 9158's do have the padded handles, but not all of them have the Ovation logo inside. |

P.S.Old Man, did you get a COA with the guitar?I'm asking because I haven't got one, and I suspect they swapped case or something like that... |
