Location: Tidal Mudflats of Virginia | The #47 has been across the Pacific by boat twice, then on to your house for a spell and then the back of the station wagon across country. Yes, it has gotten out.
OFC I in the wagon from Virginia to a visit at Beggin's in South Carolina and down to Amelia. I drag it along on about half my road trips, the rest of the time one of the solid bodies and my MicroCube. |

everyone should do it All O's and A's were meant to be played "outside". Face it, that's part of the attraction. Then there's the fact that they stay in tune, sound great plugged in, and not plugged in. Can "survive" for 30+ years of rugged treatment and still sound better.
Screw it, I think I'll buy a Collings for the campfire! |

Amen.
I remember hearing a story about Paul McCartney, an Ovation user for a couple of Wings tours. The story was that he wanted all his tour guitars financed by Ovation, and when refused, he stopped playing them in concert. Wonder if that's true.
Anyway, they sure are underrated lately. |
