Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I just spent about a half hour unsuccessfully attempting to retrieve the previous posts on this, so I'm going to ask a couple questions. I purchased a VIP and an Op Pro Studio for upgrading my 1581 and 1768. I remember the idea posted about using modeling clay to make a template from another guitar and I did that already. Now ... when I placed the template where it fits the contour, It leaves an opening from the Op24 about about 3/4" to one side, so I know I'll have to fill that area. Finally, here's my question ... What options do I have for filling the leftover gap and the battery retainer screw hole? and ... Any suggestions for obtaining the paint to match the bowl? |

Location: Upper Left USA | At your Auto parts store grab a Bumper Patch reair kit. Part A, Part B and maybe some mesh although not necessary.
For Black Bowls grab a can of Flat Black Krylon or similar poof can and hold it about 2-3 feet back for the desired splatter effect.
MASK OFF EVERYTHING YOU DON'T WANT PAINTED!
If it is too shiny let it fully dry and rub it with a cloth.
On this Pacemaker I used some Black Silicon Sealant because the angle was severe.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Thanks for the tips Woodrow. I like seeing that there is someone else that is not afraid to venture off the beaten path and do things themselves. I've taken notice of your other projects also, and you do good work. My hat's off to ya' One of my dream projects is to aquire some Elite T guitars and do a digital camo paint schemes on them, to send overseas to one of the chapel units.
