Location: East Tennessee | Here's a question. Do you allow your guitar to acclimate when going from a hot,(hot car sitting in the sun) environment to a cool,(Air Conditioned) one???
I know the reverse is true when going from cold to warm. |

I always let the gits sit in the case for at least a few hours before opening the case on temp changes. Doesn't matter whether cold to warm or visa versa.
My main concern is the humidity. During the winter months, I consider the timing more critical. Down here I don't worry 'bout temp nor humidity unless I get a git from up yonder... |

I know the reverse is true when going from cold to warm. Uhhh ... don't leave your guitar sitting in a hot car in the hot sun. Period. The same thing happens to them as happens to animals and children. 160F (it can get as high as 200F inside the car on a hot day) is very bad for anything you love. |

Tha`s RIGHT.. allthough , being Impatient , I consider One hr. t` do the trick .. and Stone`s Right too , DO NOT leave Anything in the Car , unless ya wanna claim Insurance ..
