So a package arrived today from Washington state:
I know the picture isn't as nice as the ones in Woody\'s Koa Viper album , but I had to take my own pictures so I could include its koa cousin:
That's a koa Celebrity keeping it company (restored by Woody as well). :)
Still figuring out how to use the piezo bridge/pre amp feature but it sure does sound cool.
Woody's the man! |

I'm sorry, I must confess I don't understand the meaning of that phrase...

For those that missed it Scooter won the auction of the early Breadwinner with the white neck, working electronics and the stripped to wood body. I was Jones'n for an early BW and had all the other parts so we worked something out!
The White Breadwinner is restored to 98% original with the exception of the fresh coat of Whitewash and some Dunlop Classic Straplocs - Safety First!
Scooter's Koa Viper has the LR Baggs X Bridge and Control X Preamp for that VXTish sound potential.
Coupled with the "Epauletless" acoustic with the OP30 he has all the guitars he'll ever need...
 |

I don't see the BW hitting the market soon. When I see it hanging next to the Messina Deacon I get this awed sense of history and remember that I still need to learn how to play them.
To all of the Ladies on this board - I apoligize in part for the "Who's got a Woody" phrasology but I also present my defense:
Sophomoric humor still works on this board and I didn't ask for the nickname!
Scooter - enjoy and be careful. If you experience feedback for more than four hours, consult a proffessional Soundman! |
