Location: Brisbane Australia | I recieved three new guitars from Uncle Sam this week.
Firstly the Patriot from Playadamas
Then the beautiful Book Elite from Music Mike and a pristine Wine Red Ultra GP.
Jack(Kotadawg)'s niece who is studying here in Brisbane very kindly brought them back with her from the US.
Thankyou Michael for getting a reasonable shipping price to Oz for the Patriot.
Jack thankyou for organising your niece to help me out.

Condition wise the GP is damn near mint.
The colour is just spectacular.
One of the tone controls is not working but I'm sure it is just a capacitor.
I also had that problem with my Honeyburst GP.
No big deal.
The Book Elite is all but freaking perfect, what a sound!!
The Patriot has been played but in great nic!!
I'm a very happy Aussie this week!!!

As I said, my niece and her boyfriend did all of the work. That GP is awesome. I wish I would have received it earlier so that I could have tried it out. I was surprised the neck wasn't damaged. The seller had so much bubble wrap around it and the headstock that the case was open 4" when it wasn't locked. I re-wrapped it for the flight. And the Book Elite is fantastic. I should have bought it from Dave last year. Live and learn. Congrats on your new guitars. |

VXT, Thunderbolt, Bluebird and an MWoody Viper.
I'm bringing the Bluebird and probably one of the above back in September.
I'm also on the lookout for a nice Tak or Collings to bring back as well.
The only other real lustings are a Black GP and a blue Breadwinner.
Oh and a red Adamas of some kind.

Location: Cincinnati | You don't mess around. What does the 1431 compare to sound wise? You were brilliant in having both guitars arrive at the last minute so that I wouldn't have time to play them. Cruel, but brilliant. |

AJ, did you win the auction last night for the '03 'burst w/pu for $2250? I came so close to pulling the trigger on that one but I'm out of bullits....great grab if you got it... |

I'm having it sent via Phoenix to make sure it's up to scratch.

Btw, I got an estimate today for those metal roll down security shades. With 2 CJ's in the house I was afraid I would blow out the glass in the windows. |
