What the heck is an Ovation "Uke"?
I keep thinking ukelele, but I think that's wrong.

Uke is short for ukelele (in the UK we spell it ukelele, not ukulele).

then there's the ovation adamas "UTE". perhaps there's the confusion.

it's model # U681T and was given the name "UTE" for ease.

Please don't confuse this with 'Yute', as in "Is it possible the 2 yutes..."

Younger offspring of OFC members have been referred to as 'utes'.

UTE = U681T
utes = kids
uke = wannabe guitar

Uke. There's a video on YouTube where she plays an Ovation Ukulele after she spills water on her pedal board and apparently fries it. Just because you're talented, it doesn't mean you aren't clumsy. Pretty funny, but she sounds pretty good on the uke without the pedalboard.

I went back through the archives and found, what I felt were, 386 stupid questions....so I just added mine to that total. (287 were from Weaser!)

There are no stupid questions.

Only morons that ask them.
