Location: VENISE-EN-QUEBEC CANADA | well you all no I have a few Ovation and there's been a question about wath you dislike about them for me basicly nothing other than when i play sitting my Elite 1778LX is awsome.due to the fact that im a big guy when standing it doesn't fit good so that's where my S868 SSB come's in.my question wath's the ultimate SSB Ovation is my S868 one of them or is there better and wath's the model also i like multi- hole Ovation so which is best???
again thank you

I had a S868 - sold it
Then I had a 1984 Collector - sold it
Then I had a 5868 Walnut - sold it
Then I had an Adamas 1881 - sold it.
All SSBs, all multi-holes, all different. In my humble opinion the "best" (whatever that means) one was the Adamas 1881 and looking to get another. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I have five SSBs, three Ovation and two Adamas models. Two of these are prototypes. Personally, my favorite is the Adamas 1881. It is the only one in the bunch that I regularly gig with. I also regularly use an Ovation 1567 for rehearsing with the band, but prefer the 1881 for performance. |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | I have a Custom Elite ssb, a C868LX-4, my Jewel. Al helped me special order her, and I just love her to pieces. She looks great, plays comfortably, and plugged in you don't hear how narrow she is. Unplugged, of course there's a difference, which the size 11 strings accentuates.
But...she is very good at what she's designed to do, and since I can't play the big sisters too much anymore, I'm so grateful to have her. Very comfortable, sitting or standing.
