Well folks, here we go again.
All the principle players have committed to give it another go.

Now is the time for me to ask for picture submissions. I used to have to go on, and on, and on, about the required picture size and composition. Fortunatly uze guyz pretty much know the drill.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Dweez, Patch... and you other guys who post those fantastic pics.... STOP IT! Please take more pics but don't post 'em,... send 'em!!!
Paul T... have you anything from Amelia we can use????

PM me for an addy to send a disc. I can't lift pics from posts because they are to small to use. If you only have one or three or five pics we can work with e-mail.

I used to just throw my address out there on the open board without a worry but Waskel has convinced me that it's not a good idea. No words were needed.... he just gave me that,"What are you... crazy??" look that he does so well.

You'll see some pics that you have seen posted but I hope a few surpises will be submitted.

Gentlemen... Ladies....
Have at it!!!

I'm not going to particpate. I sent you a great pic of Clifford (admitedly, there was a Martin in the picture), and it was rejected. Sniff sniff.

Actually, I've never been a photographer. Everybody else takes great pics and it's always fun to get the new calendar, as well as going back thru the old ones.

If I could make a suggestion, lets get more member pics in the new one, instead of all pics of guitars....

Deadline is somewhere around October first.
Be creative.

If I could make a suggestion, lets get more member pics in the new one, instead of all pics of guitars....
Yes... that is part of the plan.
A special request goes out to those of you who where at Amelia and other gatherings.

Another note... I'm the one who begs for the pics but Designzilla is the one who composes the calendar. He's a trained professional and we are lucky to have his support of this project. Left for me to do and it would look like the custom calendars you get at the drugstore and give your parents for their anniversery.

Just a reminder.... for all you procrastinators, 'specially the one who lives in Boise, it's already September 1st.

Ya got 30 days to have your masterpieces at my door.
Make 'em quirky or make 'em artsy-fartsy... just make 'em!

I recieved a disc of pics today from fellow Michigander twistedlim (aka: Rich).
GREAT STUFF!!
You're gonna love it.

Who you talking about? I took some pics last weekend. Even downloaded them from the camera, but want to take some more before I send any in. Probably should have risked taking the ones on the dock, though, in spite of the pack of dogs (2). It's unusual to have good weather without boats and jet skis zipping by.
Sure wish we'd have had a NW Gathering this year to memorialize in the calendar.

That deadline works great with the SSSJ, and we'll have some good photographers on hand, so look for some good guitar pix, jam pix, group pix of the WESB's.

Are there any pics viewable from older calendars, just to see if my photog talents are up to the challenge?

Careful Alan. I lived in the deep south for a long time, and I can validly state that "beauty" can be "relative"...especially in some of the more remote areas. :p

Sadly, I don't own an impressive-enough collection nor a really unique individual guitar worthy of calendar-status, but I'll gladly buy a calendar when they come out…

…and I'll keep working on the collection… there's always next year… ;)
