| Just bought a used Standard Balladeer 1861 on EBAY(not delivered yet). They say it sounds great plugged in. Any advice on what amps work well? Will be used mostly at home. |

Welcome, OldBlue. Browse those links iffy gave you, they'll have lots of information and opinions. A lot depends on how you intend to use it (home or live venue; large or small room, etc.) but definitely get something made for acoustic, or even a keyboard amp. You want that clean tone for an acoustic guitar. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | OFC member Dale Lutes cam be the bandroom for a few minutes before the Pirates/Rockies game and spent some time playing the Legend Ltd in stereo mode through twin Acoustasonc Jrs into a big Yamaha stereo PA system with the channels split wide. He seemed to enjoy it, although this set-up may be just a bit more than what you are looking for or need. |
