Again, JMHO, but the acoustic playing is nice and fairly clean for rockers. Too bad Mick Jagger had to be in it. Pretty pedestrian vocal melody, with Jagger's awful voice, ruin the nice chord sequences.

The Stones always were a pack tossers but they did some good stuff over the years and they are the real thing whatever that means. I liked the rougher edged stuff they did way back when they were finding out about blues and country - like this clip, bourbon and smoke:

I gotta respect their longevity, and they did write some good songs. But as a band, they were always too sloppy for me. Both instrumentally and vocally.

Some might consider that a feature, but it just doesn't appeal to me.

i agree with most of you that compared to some they are a bit brash, however their music came into my life during the vietnam era... well enough said(";")
