I posted that awhile back as an adjunct to some other Ugly guitar thread.

He raised the price I think.

Ugliest finish I have ever seen. Might be good camoflauge for ostrich hunting.

Could mother refinish her in black texture?

Would it be worth it?

I'm thinking 2 cans of ultra Flat Black would do the job.
If it were a $300 or under auction I'd consider it.

This is what happens when you leave your guitar out in the same room as a 3 year old with a Sharpie.

Someone call Brian Setzer and see if he needs something for an acoustic set.

That finish doesn't qualify for the each to their own exemption.

Well if it is only Sharpie "decorating" that O, then rubbing alcohol will remove it.

On the other hand, a picture of that guitar, taped to the front of your refrigerator, would make an effective diet aid.

When does customisation just become plain vandalism.

I dropped a guitar strap on my old legend and put a chip in the finish. I'd hardly call that customisation, even if I spread them out evenly over the surface.

I'd grab it for $200.00!

Uncle Woody's cleaning tip #37: To remove Sharpie from an object the best method id to first go over it with the same color sharpy and quickly follow with Butane/Acetone/Naptha etc.
It seems the suspension fluid in the Sharpy is the best thing for lifting the pigment.

The use of Heptane is good but requires a Respirator and a Commercial license to purchase it. Melts in your mind and liver!
