Johnny (or anyone who might know to whom I am referring) please give me a shout.

I'll find a local repair shop...Gallerinski gave me a few places to try here in Mesa... It's just nice to check with someone that has worked on O's before.
Thanks for the update guys.

I've done a "bowl-bend"; it's not for the faint-of-heart, though!
And, the whereabouts of our lost brother, Jason, is of more than passing interest, for many of us. Jail would not be my guess. |

If he is in jail it may be the safest place for him. Good guy, lotsa issues... pray for the best.
What Chris says is good. The Epoxied Neck joints mean that you either destroy the body to save the neck or destroy the neck to save the body. |

I'll bet you do. Hey, it's cool... I got on board here about the time that Jason_S made a 'recovery'/OFC return and bared his soul. By that time, I had gathered several 'O's and appreciated his 'honestly. Having the 'family' welcome him back prompted me to offer a loaner and sent him my first 'O' purchase, a Celeb 057.
Is there any sentimental value to that git? Nopper, not at all. But it would be a decent git to give to some one that can't afford one.
So, in the end, all I'd like is to get it back so that some one else could use it.
BTW, I purcha$ed that guitar via a local CL and paid too much. Plus I also had to buy a ca$e fer it. That's the git that brought me here; and I've been 'bleeding' ever since!
Didn't mean to hi-jack the thread... |

Location: Back in the Valley of the Sun Mesa Az. | ...sounds like perhaps I should just live with it. I can play the first 5 frets OK...I tune her down a half step and capo up to pitch to keep the pressure off. Bridge lifted some as well, but with the bridge boltz tightened, I cannot imagine it would go much further.
I'll see what some techs say looking at it.
This was an Ebay "deal" from many years ago that arrived in this condition...I thought it was no big deal until I went to adjust the neck and found the truss rod cranked all the way, the brace holding the truss rod cracked, and a million miles between my fingers and the fret board. More recently moving to Arizona, I think the drier air may have aggravated the condition.
Thanks for the advice.

The guitar showed up on ebay for sale from some pawn shop if my memory is correct. (which could be totally off base. 60's syndrome ya know) |
