Saw him last night. He was great, a very nice suprise. Him and his wife, and a guitar player, bass, keyboard and drums. Played about 2.5 hours. Sounds just like Jim Dunlop when he's talking. Very tight. Played 2 Turner solid/acoustics, a Trussart, a LP Custom. The guitar guy had a tele all night except for one tune and then a gold top. Metallic blue P-bass.
Definately worth seeing. I think he's on the Canada next.

Always wanted to catch him. If he ever comes through Upstate, I'll have to now. The other night Little Feat played a free concert at our harbor area but golf prevented me from seeing them. I was pretty bummed.

Perfectly understandable though.
Especially if Hot Tuner was the opener, cause even then a dentist appointment would be good reason not to go.
