Stumbled across some Kaman gear/history while touring the museum.. no, the air and space museum, not the guitar museum!

Oh, and I don't think this was the BlackBird McCartney had in mind, but it sure is impressive in person!

dvd,

I love airborne hardware! Nice pic of the Sprite description. What a work horse... Another Kaman winner...

Now, the HABU is altogether a horse of a different color, ah, er, breed; absolutely astounding!

I'll always remember my encounters with that amazing wonder...

Thanx for the post!

Love the Blackbird! In Flight Simulator. It's GOTTA be impressive close-up! Thanks for the GREAT pictures! Aviation cheesecake! Though, in this case, more likely BEEFcake! Some of those were some POWERFUL aircraft!

Ah yes, the SH2, I remember it well. For a short time after the guitar shop closed down in Moosup, I went over to aerospace and worked on these. Didn't stay too long because I was afraid of finger and/or hearing damage. Worked with some fine people over there though.

It's a hard place to take good pictures. Nothing fits in the shot except the outside stuff. I threw few more pics into the ning album , though, for you hardware buffs.

Fabulous museums, both of them.
And an 80' 3D Imax theater to boot! David, have you had a chance to see anything there yet?
