Location: waukegan, illinois | I purchased an Acoustic AG60 amp, to thoroughly enjoy my mid-life crisis with my Celebrity CC-44.
Although the amp is perfect for practice, I find it unsatisfying when performing in a band setting with power instruments; drums and electric bass.
Any suggestions? I'm open to purchasing another amp with greater wattage or output; 80wats to 120watts. Any thoughts on either the Marshall AS100D, Fishman, Ultrasound or Behringer?
I'm open and maybe this is not the correct forum for this posting. I'm open for that as well |

As an FYI: I own a Fishman Loudbox 100 and love it! |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I have a Genz Acoustic Pro that pushes 200 watts. The Compak 300 has received some good reviews as well. If you want more, use the XLR out available on many acoustinc amps to any sound reinforcement system of your choice. How much do you want to spend? |

I will check within my local area for this amp you mentioned. Have you used others? |

Unfortunately, my local store does not carry this model or type of Marshall amp. How is the volume output? Have you used others and can you compare your current amp to the others? |

Well, it is LOUD for home use. I haven´t used it in a gig yet, but I have a Roland 408X that I used a lot in gigs with my eletric guitars, and the Marshall is louder than the Roland, so I think it will be ok.
Another nice feature is it has 4 inputs, two for regular P10 plugs and two for XLR with phantom. When playng the Ovation or the Adamas, I plug them in the XLR, it saves a lot of battery power.
The effects are awesome. For now, I do not think I need anything else soundwise. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | The Genz Acoustic Pro may be above your budget range, but within your range, you should be able to find a relatively powerful acoustic amp to suit your needs, particularly if you look to the resale market. |
