Its good to low people in high places.

FlicK -- your prices are more typical of prices over here. $3.00 usd is HIGHLY unusual.

If it's a big name performer, $500 to $1,000 and higher, for mediocre seats is not unusual.

I bought a soda for $3
3 gallons of gas for transport.

Ticket was artist comp. a $45 value.
Great seat too dead center 5th row.
Ticket got you into the Big E and the concert.
Got a free cup of coffee.

Parked free at Sound reinforcement company on Windsor Street across from gate 7 at Eastern States.

King of weried set up.
reserved sears were cheap plastic folding chairs
zip tied togeather. 20 porta poties for 6000 people.
Stage there is real small for natioal acts.
No real space behind it either.
There was supposed to be a meet & greet but no real way to do one.

I passed on Steeley Dan tix a couple of weeks back at $300 a seat.

Wednesday night I went to show in SF and the tix were $15 ... and the band included TWO members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and five other band members who all toured/fronted national charting acts. Total capacity of the club was around 500 and I was 10 feet from the stage. The music business has totally changed. This is the way of the future for acts in the music business.
